Of the sudden death of her father.Joseph
B.Saunders.Which occurred at Grand Rapids
Yesterday morning.Mr.Saunders had for the
Past two years made his home with his
Daughter. Mrs Grace Brown at Grand Rapids.
And after breakfast was sitting in his chair
When suddenly attacked by heart disease,and
Died Mr.Saunders was born in Fort Wayne
Sixty-one years ago. When a boy he learned
The trade of a machinist and worked for many
Years in the Pennsylvania shops.He was a
Member of a well known pioneer family.
His father Benjamin Saunders. having once
Been mayor of Fort Wayne.Mr Saunders lived
Since his marriage at 55 West Lewis Street
Untill two years ago, when he and Mrs Saunders
Went to Grand Rapids, to live with their
Daughter.surviving are the widow and two
Daughters-Mrs Grace Brown of Grand Rapids
And Mrs Clem Schele of this city,Mrs T.B.
Empie is a sister and Mr.Benjamin Saunders
is a brother of the deceased.
The remains will arrive here at noon tomorrow
And will be taken to the home of Mr&Mrs Schele
on Elmwood Avenue.Lakeside.The funeral will
Be held some time Friday.
