Lois Mayfield Adcock, 72, of Leawood, Kan. died Friday, May 18, 1990, at her home. She was born Oct. 3, 1918 at Tuscumbia to L. J. and Dora Myers Mayfield.
Mrs. Adcock had lived in the Kansas City area since 1961. Prior to that she had lived in Tuscumbia and Eldon.
Surviving her are three children, Johnny Adcock of Nashville, Tenn.; Joe Adcock of Chicago, Ill., and Sherry Sparks of Kansas City; and two sisters, Blanche Haines of Kansas City, Kan. and Eileen Humphrey of Leawood.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Newcomer Chapel in Overland Park, Kan. The body was cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Action.
