Alice Nelson, age 80, of Danbury, formerly of Greenwich, died on March 26, 2011 at Filosa Convalescent Center in Danbury.
Alice was born in Greenwich on May 9, 1930, the daughter of the late Herbert and Anna (Green) Nelson. She was a graduate of Stamford High School and had resided most of her life in the Stamford and Greenwich areas.
Alice was employed as a bookkeeper with Perna Bros. Contractors and was a longtime member of Christ Church, Greenwich.
Alice is survived by her brother Robert L. Nelson of Bethel, her sister Florence Herman of Norwalk, and four nieces. She was predeceased by her two brothers Herbert and Charles Nelson.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011 in Christ Church, Greenwich.
Interment will be in Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich.
