M.C.Haney, 72, Jackson, Ky., formerly of Grassy Creek, Ky., passed away Wednesday April 6, 2011, in the Nim Henson Geriatric Center, Jackson, Ky.
He was born November 24, 1938, in Morgan Co, Ky., son of the late William Haney and Grace Templeton Haney.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Haney and infant children.
Surviving are three sons, Michael Haney of Canton, MI., Scott Goforth formerly of Morehead, Ky., Marion Haney of Somerset, Ky., one sister, Delores Lacy Sorrell of Lexington, Ky., and several grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Raymond Vancleave officiating. Burial in the Gevedon Cemetery, Grassy Creek, Ky.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
