Clinton Herbert Pfalser, 67, 1340 W. 9th, died Friday evening at Axtell Christian Hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1907 at Wakita, Okla., the son of John and Edith Baughman Pfalser. He married Mora L. Norris, Sept. 14, 1929, at Hutchinson, Kansas.
The couple moved to Newton from Brewster, Kan. seven years ago. He as a retired salesman for Mac Tool Co. Mr. Pfalser was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Newton. Survivors in addition to the widow of the home include one daughter, Mrs. Coleen Crumrine, Brewster; two sons, Eugene, Medford, Okla. and Donald, Mountain Home, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Anderson and Mrs. Viola Elder, both of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Albert St. John, Wichita; one brother, John L. Freeport, Kan.; and 8 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the church with Rev. Jon Jones officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Calling time at Petersen Funeral Home will be Sunday and until service time. Memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Assn. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.

Clinton Herbert Pfalser was the son of John Pfalser and Edith Viola Baughman. Clinton married Mora L. Norris on 14 September 1929 at Hutchinson Kansas, they had two sons and one daughter: Eugene, Donald, and Coleen Pfalser. The couple started their married life at Wakita, Oklahoma, but by July 1951, the family had moved to a farm south of Brewster, Kansas.
