Nobleman who underwent conversion to Christianity after he survived when the horse was riding was struck by lightning - this incident is often depicted on the pulpits of churches associated with the Premonstratensian order which he founded. Became Archbishop of Magdeburg in 1126, and was originally buried there until his remains were transferred in 1627 to the church of his order at Strahov, just outside Prague. He was canonised in 1582, and his feast day is 6th June.
