She was born February 17, 1916 in Indianapolis to the late Caleb Nathaniel Boswell and Ora Harper Burns Boswell.
Mary graduated from George Washington High School. She worked for United Student Aid Funds, until her retirement in 1981. Mary was a member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church and West Side Nazarene Church.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Sue Moore and Rebecca Anne (Bill) Kirkpatrick; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Loren Victor Duff, II.
