Mrs. Mollie McCracken
Mrs. Mollie McCracken, aged 83 years, of R. D. 1 Portersville died this morning at 2:50 o'clock in the home of her daughter Mrs. Edward Book, 291 East Mondy avenue. She had been ill for eight months. Mrs. McCracken was the widow of Wilson McCracken, who died in 1926. Mrs. McCracken was born in Slippery Rock township October 25, 1868, daughter of William and Sara Stoner Weigle. She was a member of the Plaingrove church. Two daughters survive; Mrs. Edward Book, this city, and Mrs. Albert Bartley, of Harlansburg. She also leaves a brother, Elmer Weigle, R. D. 1; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the McClelland funeral home, Harlansburg, Rev. James Brown to be in charge. Burial will be in the Plaingrove Presbyterian cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
