June Bissell Ryan, of 3405 Ocean Dr., in Corpus Christi, passed away April 3, 1986. She was born in Tanglewood, Texas on May 11, 1916. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi and was a member of the Cooper Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women, and the Chancel Choir. She was also a member of the Nueces County Historical Society, the Connecticut Historical Society, and the Windsor Connecticut Historical Society. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Lowell O. Ryan of Corpus Christi, to whom she was married to for almost 52 years; two sons, Michael L. Ryan of Columbus, Ohio, and Timothy L. Ryan of San Antonio; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Dunn of Ridgecrest, California; two sisters, Marjorie Founder of Caldwell, Texas, and Mrs. Sue Harrison of Mesa, Arizona; six grandchildren, Brion Ryan and Theresa Ryan of Columbus, Ohio, Kathy Ryan and Don Ryan of San Antonio, Will Mathis Dunn III and Laurie June Dunn of Ridgecrest, California; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 1986 at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Dan E. Solomon and Rev. Joseph M. Ray officiating. Pallbearers will be Walter W. Mertz, Munsey Sikes, Charles Plimper, Melvin Kronk, Earl Gilbert, and Allen Jackson. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Memorial Fund of First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 1838, Corpus Christi, TX 78403. Seaside Funeral Home at Sante Fe and Robert.
