Diana Newcomer, 55, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010. Diana was born on October 4, 1954 to John B. James and Billie James of Corpus Christi, Texas. Diana was retired but loved her career as a nurse; she especially enjoyed working with the newborn babies and elderly. Diana enjoyed gardening, sewing, doing projects around the house with her husband of 40 years, RW, but most of all, just enjoyed being with her children and grand children. Diana was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, RW Newcomer, Jr., her mother, Billie James, her father, John James, her father-in-law, Robert Newcomer, Sr., her sister, Judy Pike and her brother, John James.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Sharley) Newcomer, III, Scott Newcomer, John (Tabitha) Newcomer, Colby (Elizabeth) Newcomer, Jeremy Newcomer, MyLeah Newcomer (Rus Richards) fiancé, 13 grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Charla Simms (Billy Ray), Claude "Bill" Woolard, Renna (Donnie) Schaffer, Steve (Juan) James, Rick (Grace) James and Tracy (Noel) Trevino.
Diana will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her but we also rejoice because now she is reunited with the love of her life, RW!
