ABRAMS, DANIEL KARL SR., passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Danny" was the past president of Karl Abrams Construction Company, Inc., a member of The Bonnycastle Club, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. "I guess you could define the good husband as the one who -- for absolutely no good reason in the world -- makes you feel that -- WITH HIM -- you're home." He is preceded in death by his father, Karl B. Abrams; and his good friend and brother-in-law, James "Jimmy" Mullaney. He survived by his wife, Dorothy Bohn Abrams; his daughter, Elizabeth Hatchett; his son, Daniel Abrams, Jr. (Holly); three grandsons, Bradley and Matthew Jansing and Connor Abrams; his mother, Anna L. Abrams; two sisters, Donna Mullaney and Karen Abrams-Thompson (Bill); three brothers, Michael Abrams (Margit), Mark Abrams (June) and Patrick Abrams (Sherian). There will be a small burial ceremony at Calvary Cemetery at 11 a.m. on January 8, 2011. All family and friends are invited to a celebration of Danny's life at the Bonnycastle Club immediately following the burial.
