-- LANCASTER - Mrs. Williford Rotan "Foxie" Plyler, age 86, of West Barr Street, died Sunday, July 11, 2004 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was born November 22, 1917 in Florence County, the daughter of the late Mose and Belle Rotan and was the wife of the late Curtis Plyler. Mrs. Plyler was a Christian, a mother, a garden and flower grower, and a Clemson Tiger Fan.

Mrs. Plyler is survived by her son, Millon Plyler and his wife Mary Neal Plyler of Greenville, SC, 2 grandsons, Doug Plyler of Greenville, SC, and Curt Plyler and his wife Kristi of Raliegh, NC, a great-grandson, Andy Plyler, 2 sisters, Elizabeth Mathis of Atlanta, GA and Meta Rae Gooden of Holly Hill, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Plyler will be 3:00 pm. Tuesday afternoon, July 13, 2004 at First United Methodist Church by Rev. Dan Batson with entombment to follow at Westside Cemetery.
