Pallbearers were Bobby Chain, Pat Sellers, Charles W. Sellers, Kelly Sellers, John Sellers, Irvin Sellers, Howard Hemby and James F. O'Bryan, all nephews of Mrs. Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were F. E Davis, Welch W. Davis, Selby Bowling, H. H. Bell, Clyde Easterling, H. E. Todd, Dr. D. B. Conerly, Dr. W. J. Huddleston, M. L Stewart and A. E. Gordon.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Covington County, the daughter of the late Cynthia Jane and John Sellers. She had lived in Forrest County for many yean and in Harvey for 19 years. She was an active member of Petal-Harvey Mission Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. T. J. Peacock, Pinola; a son, Grover A. Smith, Sunrise Community; four granddaughters Patricia Nell and Delana Sue Smith, and Mary Gaile [sp. Gayle] and Catherine Sue Peacock; three sisters, Mrs. Lee Chain, city; Mrs. Annie Kelly, Moss Point; and Mrs. Walter Hemby, Mt. Olive; four brothers, Vester, Devan and Taylor Sellers, all of Hattiesburg; and Webb Sellers, Midland, Tex.
