Major League Baseball Player. He was a right-handed pitcher making his debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 21, 1903. Known as a knuckleball hurler, for six seasons he played with the Pittsburgh Pirates (1903-04) and Philadelphia Phillies (1907-10). He finished his career with a record of 48 wins, 57 loss, 356 strikeouts, 62 complete games, 10 shutouts, 3 saves and a 2.95 earned run average.
