William H. Kiger, of Spraggs, died in the Waynesburg hospital, Monday, April 17, aged 62 years. His death followed a ten weeks' illness which developed into pneumonia. Mr. Kiger was born in Whiteley township, May 16, 1859, and had spent the greater part of his life there. He had engaged in farming and stock raising. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was a highly respected citizen. His wife, Ella Goodwin Kiger and five children survive, Lonnie Kiger, of Marion, Ohio; Mrs. Cora Cowell, of Brock; Anna, Mary and Clarence, at home. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Lafayette Headley, Mrs. Sanford Conklin, Mrs. Archibald Dulaney and Mrs. Margaret Goodwin, all of Plain City, O., and Frank Kiger, of Whiteley township.
