She was born April 18, 1920, in Niles, the daughter of George A. and Winifred Ellwood Damon.
A homemaker, Mrs Yakubek was a member of St. Stephen Church.
She leaves two sons, Ashley A. of Cortland and Gregory J. of Niles; three daughters, Amy Politsky and Phyllis Yakubek, both of Niles, and Cathie Grimes of Leavittsburg; a brother, John C. Damon of North Andover, Marr.; four grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Her husband Joe; and a brother are deceased.
