Everett C. Bruckert, 86, of Cheyenne died Oct. 7.

He was born Jan. 2, 1913 in Wilsall, Mont.

He moved to Casper in Jan. 1937, where he worked in the roundhouse for the C&NW Railroad until 1941. He then moved to Laramie, where he hired out on the Union Pacific Railroad in the engine service. He was promoted to engineer in Oct. 1944. He moved to Cheyenne in 1972. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in Nov. 1975.

He married Marjorie Heneberg Reynolds on May 10, 1937, in Livingston, Mont.

Mr. Bruckert was a life member of the Laramie Lodge #3 A.F. & A.M., B.P.O.E. #582, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers #103, all of Laramie, and the Union Pacific Railroad Old Timers of Cheyenne. He was also an honorary member of the Union Pacific Railroad Jr. Old Timers of Laramie, a member of Consistory in Cheyenne and the Korein Temple in Rawlins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Bruckert.
