Otis Boyd Waters 78, of Charlotte, Michigan, died Thursday, January 5, 2006. Mr. Waters was born April 6, 1927, in Hominy, Oklahoma, the son of Brady and Hattie Waters. Mr. Waters was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Eagles, American Legion, VFW #2406 and was a past Commander of the VFW. Mr. Water retired from Owens-Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, playing cards, gardening and helping people.

He is survived by his daughters, Mary Jo (Paul) Goforth of Santa Maria, CA and Rhoda Knickerbocker of Charlotte; 3 grandchildren, Holly, Tony, and Bo; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen S. Waters, in 1987; a grandson, Victor Lee Knickerbocker; and 4 brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at Pray Funeral Home with his daughter and Chuck Jensen officiating. Visitation will be Sunday and Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9p.m. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
