My grandma's youngest brother. Simon was named for his brother Simon, twin of Roosje, who died at the age of 1 week in 1879. When Simon tried to get a job during WWII, he wasn't hired because his name sounded too Jewish, so he changed his last name to Grant. He changed it back to Levie after the war. This created problems for his son Jack, who was known as both Jack Grant and Jack Levie.
