David Jones was born 1846 on Rhydgoch Farm, Llanfihangel Aberbythych Parish, Carmarthenshire, Wales to William Jones and Elizabeth Thomas Jones. He Married Priscilla Thomas Jun 6 1879 at St Teilo's Church, Llandeilo, Llandeilo Fawr, Carmarthenshire. Shortly after marriage they moved to Wernfawr Farm, in Bishopston Higher, on the Gower in Glamorganshire, Wales. David and Priscilla had 10 children. David and Priscilla's home is still there with family still residing, the town is called Upper Killay today. They built the Welsh Congregational Chapel standing on the grounds. They are both buried at Three Crosses Churchyard that sits on the road from Upper Killay to Dunavant. David and priscilla had the two infant children buried with them at Three Crosses both named David Jones. They also had Lillian Lily Jones who married and is deceased, she had one son Dennis who is also deceased.
