Mr. Kerr was born in Crawford county, August 24, 1838. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kerr. While still young, he came to Marion county, where he has since made his home, following the occupation of a farmer up until a few years ago, when he retired from the farm to make his home with his son. Six children survive to mourn his death. They are W.L. Kerr, and C.V. Kerr, of Marion, Mrs. Emma Miller, of Lima, R.M.C. Kerr, Seattle, Washington, Rolla dn Edna Kerr, of Alleghany, Pa.
Funeral services were held at the late residence Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Interment was made at the Kirkpatrick cemetery.
