Gary Wayne Clark, 57, resident of Spencer, died Friday, December 26, 1997, at Indiana University Medical Center.
Born July 14, 1940, in Owen County, he was the son of Tom and Evelyn Long Clark.
He was a 1958 graduate of Spencer High School and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Clark was retired from Allison's in Indianapolis and was an employee at Junction Mart.
Survivors include his wife, Deby (Hutchison) Clark; two daughters, Corinna Stewart and Michelle Clark, both of Brazil; two sons, Brian Clark of Bloomington and Justin Clark of Spencer, his parents of Spencer; one step-daughter, Michelle Query of Bowling Green, two step-sons, Alan Wayne Coffey of Plainfield, and Byron Coffey of Spencer; one sister, Connie Sprinkle of Quincy, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Heidrun Clark on September 20, 1990; and one sister, Rebecca Hill.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 30 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral home. The Rev. David Warren officiated.
Interment was held t New Union Cemetery.
Military graveside rites were conducted by the Spencer V.F.W. post #1405 and American Legion post #285.
