Baseball Player and Manager. Had a fifteen-year career as an outfielder with the Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, and St. Louis Terriers of the ill-starred Federal League. Batted over .300 six times and served as a manager for parts of ten seasons. Managed the "Hitless Wonder" World Series champion White Sox in 1906.
