Circus Performer. Maria was the daughter of Josef Enders, a Bohemian German who started a circus in Timisoara, Romania. Maria established, with her husband Simon, the Rieffenach Bareback Riding Act in 1905 in Timisoara (part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire) after her father's Circus Enders was sold. They emigrated to the United States in 1922 and performed with the Ringling-Barnum Circus.
