A funeral for Angela Maria Austin Sanchez of Otis was held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinnville.
Interment will be private.
Ms. Sanchez died Oct. 7, 1999, in McMinnville. She was 46.
She was born March 27, 1953, in Los Angeles, the daughter of Glen and Vivian Coe Austin. She was raised and educated in Palm Springs, Calif., and also attended Holy Names Academy in Spokane, Wash.
After completing high school, she moved to Palm Desert, Calif. She earned an associate degree in nursing from College of the Desert and became a registered nurse. She worked as a nurse in the Palm Desert area until 1995, when she moved to Hebo. Ms. Sanchez worked for Legacy Hospice. She recently lived in the Amity area.
Survivors include her mother, Vivian Grow of Palm Springs, Calif.; a daughter, Amber Sanchez of Milwaukie; a son, Graham Sanchez of Milwaukie; and her former husband, Danny Sanchez, also of Milwaukie.
