Agnes Dodson Cook was born May 5, 1822, died July 28, 1903, aged 81 years, 2 months and 23 days.
She was married to Samuel Cook January 26, 1848. To them were born three children, John who died while in the service of this country during the civil war, Col. Geo. W., of Denver, Col., and Mrs. J.M. Deisher, of this place, the latter two surviving.
She became a member of the Presbyterian church in April, 1855, and while health permitted, took an active interest in the work. Her friends will remember her as a patient, kind-hearted woman, one who was ever ready to extend a helping hand in time of trouble.
The funeral took place this morning from the family residence. The services were conducted by Revs. Johnson and Taylor.
