88, of Lincoln, passed away Saturday (6-18-11) surrounded by his family. He was born on May 14, 1923 in Marysville, Kansas to Henry W. & Rosa (Klug) Moeller. Fred excelled as a farmer. In 1942, he met the love of his life, Mildred Hogan. They were married on May 13, 1944. The couple moved to Lincoln in 1949. Fred worked as a salesman for Wendelin Bakery for 28 years where he was always one of the top salesmen. Prior to his retirement in 1985, he worked 10 years as a Correctional Officer for the State of Nebraska. Fred was blessed with many friends, good health, & a close loving family. He is best characterized as an honest, hardworking, devoted man with a great sense of humor who was a beloved son, a caring brother, a loving husband, a wonderful father, grandfather, & great grandfather, a great American, & a good friend to many.
