Mr. Benoit, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 3:00 P.M. Monday, June 20 at his residence. Pastors George Zanca and David DeVillier will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Schulz Benoit of Church Point; a son, James Larry Benoit, Jr. and wife Trisha of Katy, Tex.; two daughters, Nicole Lizarraga and husband Robert of La Place, La. And Aimee Aitken of River Ridge, La.; a brother, John Benoit of Church Point; a sister, Brenda Courville of Maurice, La.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin "To-To" and Leora (LeJeune) Benoit and a brother, Mervin Benoit.
