48y, "In memory of Henry Crocheron Esquire, one of the Judges of this county and late a Member of Congress, and the first from Staten Island, who represented the Souther district of the State of New York, in the National Councils. A Sincere Republican, and possessing an intelligent, and an upright mind, his talents and virtues were appreciatred by a free and grateful people. Having languished on a bed of sickness for some time, he died with composure and Resignation. Respected and lamented by numerous friends."
