Mrs. Kate De Bruyn, widow of the late A. W. De Bruyn, died at her home, 706 Liberty street, at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 1928, following an extended illness with cancer. She is survived by four brothers and five sisters, Frank LeCocq of Pella, Isaac of Perry, Chris of New Sharon and Theodore of Des Moines, Mrs. D. R. Rhynsburger and Mrs. J. G. Sybenga of Pella, Mrs. D. Van Loon of Eddyville, Mrs. Anna Sheetz of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Mrs. Hubert Kaldenberg of Monroe. Mrs. De Bruyn had reached the age of 67 years, 6 months and 17 days. Funeral services appointed for this afternoon, then at the home at two o'clock an the Second Reformed church at 7:30 p, m. Interment at Oakwood cemetery. -Pella Chronicle, September 27, 1928
