Jonathan Michael Palacios, age 22, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011. He was born December 14, 1988 to Maria Rendon and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas by her and his step father, Carlos Gomez. He was a loving father, son, brother and cousin. He was a 2007 graduate of King High School. Jonathan was employed by Bradley's Inc. He enjoyed working out and most of all spending time with his daughter, Arabella. He will always be remembered for his big smile, his love of life and his devotion to his daughter and family. Jonathan was always the life of the party and loved the beach. Jonathan also was a very hardworking man and had a special bond with his co-workers at Bradley's Inc. Jonathan is preceded in death by his grandmother, Eloisa Rendon and uncle, Jay Rendon.
Jonathan is survived by his mother Mary Lou Rendon, stepfather, Carlos Gomez, daughter, Arabella Palacios, fiancé of 7 years, Kayla Nieto, sisters, Noel Rendon, Tiffany Gill, brothers, Andrew Rendon, Jeremy Rendon, grandfather, Lauro R. Rendon, uncles, Ernest Rendon, Larry Rendon, Victor Rendon, Daniel Rendon, aunt, Irma O. Rodriguez and several loving cousins.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 30, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
