David Henry Cornwell, 53, of Fellowsville, WV, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 as a result of a farming accident.

He was born November 11, 1957 in Kingwood, WV, son of the late Robert Blake and Annabelle Campbell Cornwell.

Dave was owner and operator of Dave's Deer Processing, and was an active farmer. He graduated from Newburg High School in 1976. Dave enjoyed watching RFD TV, WVU Basketball Games and the outdoors. He was a third generation active member of Aurora Lodge #43 A.F. & A.M., where he proceeded as senior warden.

Surviving are one sister, Roberta A Knotts and husband Denzil of Fellowsville; two nephews, Phillip R Austin and Courtney of Fellowsville, Adam R Austin of Fellowsville; one niece, Hilary A Adams and Dewayne, of Sherrills Ford, NC; four great nephews, Dustin Adams, Hunter Austin, Grizzly Austin and Tyson Austin; special cousins, Bobby and Bruce Shay of Bridgeport, Janice and Larry Pierce of Tunnelton.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by aunts and uncles, Keith and Olive Cornwell, Marie and Carl Wilson, and Aunt Jean Funk.

Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 3-8 p.m., and Friday, July 1, 2011 from 9 a m. until the service at 11 a.m. with the Pastor Rusty McClurg officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Sandy Creek Cemetery where Masonic Graveside Rites will be conducted by Aurora Lodge #43 A.F.& A.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in memory of Dave to the Fellowsville VFD, 18 Fire Department Loop, Tunnelton, WV, 26444 or the Mountaineer Ambulance Service, 48 Fire Department Loop, Tunnelton, WV, 26444.
