Zebbie Thomas Charles married Tasceaie Carise Jackson and bore these children: Victor, Randy, Jerry, Martha, Carla, Richard, Carise, Zebbie (Jr) Carol and Barbara.

Zebbie's Mother: Martha Charles
Martha died on November 15, 1960; Last Rites Held as Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Charles, 2100 E. 97th
street, Saturday, Nov. 19, 1960 at the Great Hope
Baptist Church, Los Angeles, CA . Rev. L. M.
Curtis officiated at the service for the native of Louisiana, who has lived in California five years, since 1955. She is survived by 3 sons: Zebbie Charles, of Los Angeles, J. C. Charles and Ernest Charles; four nieces. Elizabeth Terrell, Juanita, Ethel Lee and Marian Davis; five brothers, and 16 grandchildren. The J.,S. Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
with interment in Paradise Cemetery.

Zebbie served his country during Hiroshima via the U.S. Navy and was buried with this on his headstone. Born January 12, 1925, Zebbie died on April 4, 1997, just 4 years after his beloved Tasceaie Carise Charles.

Zebbie was a loving father and a true gangster in a good way. And, his memorial would be false without acknowledging how successful he was in a leadership role. Love and respected by all of his children, "Daddy" is truly missed.

Daddy I added all of your kids by mother: Victor, Randy, Jerry, Martha, Carla, Richard, Carise, Zebbie, Carol and Barbara. We love you Daddy. Will see you in heaven. "Pick the cherries off the tree!"
