Peter Erb Sr. b.1712 of Switzerland purchased the following tracts of Land.

(1) "Erbs Lot" 212 acres in 1757

(2) "James Fancie" 9 acres in 1758

(3) "Leonards Lot" 26 acres in 1761

The purchases amounted to 727 acres where the Christopher Erb home is located today. Peter Erb Jr. b.1737 purchased other tracts of land:

(1) "Collenton" 50 acres in 1763

(2) "High Germany" 110 acres in 1763

(3) "Cabin Ridge" 27 acres in 1765

(4) "Livermore" 50 acres in June 1766

(5) "Dyers Mill" 97 acres in June 1766

(6) "Hansen's Delight" 100 acres in June 1766

(7) "This or None" 25 acres in Nov 1766

In 1749 in following families immigrated to America aboard the ship "Crown" with 500 passengers including Hans Erb b.1678 with wife Barbara Moser b.1682 and family, Peter & Maria Lowis Erb b.1712 and two sons Peter b.1737,Christopher b.1748 and daughter Mary Magdalena b.1734, Nicholas b.1703, Barbara b.1704, Anna b.1707and Ulrich Erb b.1715. Another couple was John Martin Tschudi (Study) b.1718 his wife Anna Margaret Stonesifer b.1724. Nicholas Dill b.1712 with wife. The above passengers arrived in the port of Philadelphia on 30 August 1749 on warm day of rejoicing.
