THACKERVILLE -- Services for Goldie O. Glidewell, 57, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Thackerville High School auditorium with the Rev. W.S. McMurtrey officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Glidewell died March 4, 1998, in the Marietta hospital. She was born Nov. 16, 1940, at Thackerville, to James D. and Leatha Busby Kittrell.
She had lived in Thackerville since 1995, moving here from Bowie, Texas where she was a nurse in private patient care before she retired. She was an active member of Marietta First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her mother, Leatha Kittrell, Marietta; a son, Larry, Bowie, Texas; five daughters, Peggy Cain, Parkersburg, W. Va., Debbie Glidewell, Sherman, Texas, Lynn Senfields, Westpoint, Wis., Martha Voyles and Brandie Glidewell, Thackerville; two brothers, James Kittrell, Montague County, Texas, and Herman Kittrell, Chico, Texas; five sisters, Bonnie Gann, Lubbock, Texas, Ruth Robinson, Lake Kiowa, Texas, Carolyn Hogan, Corpus Christi, Texas, Sue Cavitt and Gelema Thomas, Marietta; and 17 grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as bearers.
Honorary bearers are Richard Garza and Tom Voyles.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at Kennedy Funeral Home, where services are being directed."
