US Congressman. Elected to represent Nebraska's 1st District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1909 to 1915. He was defeated in 1914. Also served as a Delegate to the Democratic National Convention from Nebraska in 1904, and Municipal Judge from 1938 until his death in 1939.
