Adolph Herman Joseph Coors III was President of the Adolph Coors Brewing Company, which also produced porcelain and in 1960-missile cones. Murdered by Joseph Corbett, Jr (1928-2009) during a botched kidnapping attempt. Graduate of Cornell University (Chemical Engineering). An avid skier, Adolph Coors was inducted into the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in 1998. He helped found the Aspen Ski Corporation in 1946 and was on it's Board of Directors at the time of his death.
