Mrs. Nora G. Dasher Died Unexpectedly At Claxton Thursday

Mrs. Nora Griner Dasher,78, widow of B.E. Dasher, died unexpectedly t her home near Claxton last Thursday. A native a Tattnall county she was the daughter of the late Joshua and Abbie Beasley Griner. She had lived in Glennville for many years before moving to Claxton.

She is survived by two brothers, Amos A. Griner of Savannah and D.B. Griner of Claxton; three sisters, Mrs. Lalie Weathers of Savannah, Mrs. Fred Dyess and Mrs. Will Dress, both of Claxton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Cribbs officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers, nephews, were Lucious Wells, James A. Griner, Jr., Henson Griner, Homer Smith, Randall Dasher, Corbett Sutton, Harold Blalock and Palmer Weathers.

Honorary pallbearers were Bob Howard, Frank Spivey, Charlton Kicklighter, Troy Bland, Brannen Moore, Dr. Curtis Hames, Cecil Dasher, Truman Wells, Jesse Dasher, Wright Medlock, Holmes Watkins, Lucious Kennedy, T. Rome, Tal Burkhalter Clayton Dyess and Elmer Bland.
