Christine Nunn Pickett, 82, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, June 6, 2000 at Norton's Hospital in Louisville. Daughter of the late Clarence Elmore Nunn and Rosa Lee Yates Nunn, she was born on 10 Aug 1917 in Green Co., Ky. and was a member of Greensburg United Methodist Church. She was a member of Fellowship Sunday School Class, the Methodist Women's Group and the Republican Women's Club. Pickett was a bookkeeper for Western Tire & Auto, and the Burley Tobacco Warehouse in Greensburg, and also a farmer. She was married to Lawrence Edwin "Chick" Pickett on 30 Apr 1939, who preceded her in death on 19 Dec 1989. Survivors include one daughter and one son, Connie Crockett of Louisville, and Eddie Pickett of Greensburg; three grandchildren, Stephen Clay Crockett of Louisville, Trae Pickett and John David Pickett, both of Greensburg. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Rhonda Ellen Driggers on Feb. 15, 1976; and four brothers and two sisters, Curt Nunn, Buster Nunn, Earl Nunn, Gladys White, Bessie Nunn and Addis Nunn. Pallbearers were Jerry Warren, William Lewis Warren, Robert Clayton Pickett, Sean DeSimone, Shelby Warren, Joe Pickett Guthrie, Lynn Taylor Blakeman and Shane DeSimone.
