Alfred Scott Farrington was the oldest son of Walter and Cora (Carter) Farrington. Scott was a World War Two Veteran. Assigned to the 515th Bombardment Squadron (SATAN'S KIDS) of the 376th Bombardment Group (LIBERANDOS). On 1 August 1943, Scott as a tail gunner of the B 24 Crew "Dopey Goldberg" flew in the Polesti Oil Raids. On 16 August 1943, Scott was a tail gunner on the famed B 24 "Teggie Ann" when it was shot down over Foggia Italy. Scott was a POW of the Germans till the end of the War. Scott earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal (5 Oak Leaf Clusters, the European/Middle Eastern Medals with 4 battle stars, Good Conduct Medal, POW Medal, World War 2 Victory Medal.
