EDWIN F. HARTWELL, OLD RESIDENT, PASSES AWAY
Edwin F. Hartwell, aged 75 years, and a retired eastern farmer who had resided in Los Angeles the past seventeen years, died yesterday at his home, 1235 East Thirty-fifth street.
Mr. Hartwell had been an active member of the Methodist denomination for forty-seven years. He was a member of the Central avenue church at the time of his death. Mr. and Mrs. Hartwell celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in June, 1906.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at Odd Fellows hall, which order will officiate. The interment will be at Rosedale. Mr. Hartwell leaves his wife and three children, Chauncey E., Henry E. Hartwell and Mrs. H. I. Jones.
