Gerald graduated from Dawson-Bryant High School with the Class of 1952. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, was employed at Wilson Sporting Goods and operated Brammer's Tire Center on S. Third Street. He was a member of Leatherwood Missionary Baptist Church.
He was also preceded in death by
one sister, Mrs. Paul (Wilma) Sites;
a granddaughter, Whitney Nicole Johnson.
He is survived by
his wife, Wanda Friend Brammer, whom he married on July 20, 1956;
two daughters, Kim (Darrell) McFann and Tammy (PJ) Johnson both of Ironton, OH;
one son, Jerry Brammer of Proctorville, OH;
a grandson, Corey Belville of Ironton, OH;
two sisters, Mrs. Jean (Homer) Hankins of Gallipolis, OH and Emily (Bob) Little of Nashville, TN;
one brother, John (Blanche) Brammer of Fairborn, OH; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
