Wava D. McMonigle
SPRING VALLEY - Wava D. McMonigle, 76, a lifelong resident of Spring Valley, West Decatur RD, died Tuesday, Oct. 28,1997, at Clearfield Hospital.
Born July 18, 1921, in Spring Valley, she was a daughter of LeRoy and Grace Ella (Wilsoncroft) Hull.
Mrs. McMonigle was retired from McGregor Sportswear. She was a member of the Philipsburg First Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by five children, Paul "Jack" McMonigle, Audrey Fulmer, Donald McMonigle Sr. and Phyllis Bush, all of Spring Valley, and Marjorie Droll of West Decatur.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, three sisters, Luella Hull, Joanne Hull and Joyce Wise, all of Clearfield; and a brother, Burton Hull of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul J. "Butch" McMonigle Sr. in 1974; a son, Maynard McMonigle; four sisters, Betty and Grace Hull, Margaret Wise and Eva Good; and four brothers, Lee, Clair, Maynard and Alfred Hull.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield with the Rev. Peter J. Scharler officiating.
Interment will be in the Stoneville Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.
