George K. Thomas, 65, of Hutsonville died Saturday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Danville. He was born Sept. 23, 1930, in Birmingham, Ala., the son of Benjamin P. and Salome Kreider Thomas.
Mr. Thomas graduated from Lake Forest Academy and Princeton University.
Survivors: mother, Salome Thomas of Springfield; two sisters, Martha Barthel of St. Louis and Sarah Thomas of Springfield; four nieces; and three nephews.
Private family services at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Beth Merrill officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
