Services for Sallie Bradley, 75-year old pioneer church leader and 89er who died Tuesday afternoon at her home, 1214 North Dale Avenue, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at the First Christian Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. She was the widow of Y. B. Bradley, former city water department employee.

For over 50 years, Mrs. Bradley taught in the Sunday School classes of churches near Britton and First Christian Church of Oklahoma City. An active leader in Christian Endeavor work, she was honored at the State Christian Endeavor convention at Muskogee in 1936 by the creation for her of the office of Mother Counselor emeritus of the State Christian Endeavor. Mrs. Bradley was born in Lexington, Kentucky in 1867. She and her husband moved to Oklahoma before the turn of the century from Tioga, Texas, and settled on a farm five miles west of Britton. In 1906 they came to Oklahoma City.

Survivors includes four daughters, Mrs. Arra B. Parnell, Nacogdoches, Texas; Mrs. Walton G. Bach; St. Paul, Minnesota; Mrs. L. L. Hensley, Tulsa; and Mrs. Frank D. Brimm, Dallas, Texas; three sons, Jesse L., Dallas, Texas; John S., Denver, Colorado; and James W., Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Miller, Anadarko; Mrs. Lucy Petty, Temple, Texas; and one brother, William A. Young, San Fernando, California. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She also was deaconess emeritus of the First Christian Church, and since her retirement from Sunday school teaching, she was made class mother of the Fellowship class of young people. Until her death, she was an active member of the First Christian church board of deaconesses.
