Roland Dean Hall was the youngest of Frank and Maude Hall's nine children and was born in 1926. He grew up in Nodaway County, Missouri, living in several small towns where he met and married Hazel Roberta Spangler in 1943. Shortly after his marriage he enlisted in the Army for the duration of World War II. He had five sons before he moved his family to Colorado in 1951. A daughter, who was his last child, was born in Colorado the same year they moved. He was preceded in death by his parents, and six sibling. He continued to live out the remainder of his life in Commerce City, Colorado with his wife until he died in 1999. I think most of his children remained in Colorado and were close. He reminded me the most of his Dad than the other brothers, although he was not as tall. Uncle Roland had such an easy going temperament and was a joy to be around. All the brothers seemed to be like that.
