MAGNA CRASH KILLS N. UTAH MAN, 2 WOMEN

Three persons were killed in a headon collision near the west Salt Lake City suburb of Magna Friday.
Those killed near Magna were John Leonard Peters, 22, Brigham City; Mrs. Draga Sunny Thomas, 27; and Marie Jackman, 16. Mrs. Brown and Miss Jackman, traveling together, were neighbors who lived in Kearns.
Deputy Sheriff Ronald Cranfill said it appeared they were killed instantly. He said there were no other occupants in the cars.
Cranfill said witnesses told him the Peters vehicle swerved across the highway into the path of Mrs. Brown's car.

JOHN L. PETERS
Corinne - John Leonard Peters, 22, of Corinne, was killed Friday in an automobile accident in Magna.
Mr. Peters was born April 27, 1943, in Brigham City, a son of William Everett and Irene Rader Peters. He was reared in Brigham City.
He was a member of the LDS Church. He served in the Navy from 1960 to 1964. He was an employee of the Anaconda Smelter Co. of Tooele.
Surviving are his parents of Corinne, the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Jack (Betty) Freestone, Riverton, Utah; Lewis Peters, Corinne; Donald Peters, Duarte, Calif; Mrs. LeRoy (Grace) Seber, Brigham City; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rader, Corinne.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Corinne LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Harold B. Felt Funeral Home in Brigham City Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until services. Burial in Corinne Cemetery.
