He is survived by his wife, Lela; one daughter, Shirley Ballard; one son, Jim Ballard all of Douglas; four grandchildren, Delyn Graham of Basin, Wyndi Ballard of Mesa, Ariz., Shileen Ballard of Douglas, and Shad Ballard of Douglas; one great granddaughter, Kylie Shanee Graham of Basin; two brothers, Dan Ballard of Cody and Melvin Ballard of Douglas; and one sister, Mabel Dixon of Paradise, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Emmett Ballard.
