Mrs. Adna Garrison, wife of Leroy Garrison, died at their home at Spraggs, this county, Thursday, February 11, aged 43 years, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Garrison was a daughter of Mrs. Debbie Phillips, of near Sprags, and was an excellent woman. She was a member of the Methodist Protestant church and was highly esteemed. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. David Phillips and Mrs. S. Strawn, of Spraggs; Dr. George Phillips, Of Blacksville, W. Va., and Daniel Phillips, of Wayne township. The funeral services were held Saturday at 9 a.m., conducted by the Rev. O. W. Bolton, of Fordyce, and John C. McMinn, of Jefferson. Interment in the Spragg burying gorund.
