MOWEAQUA -Gerald G. Jordan, 83, of Moweaqua died 8 p.m. Friday (Jan. 28, 1994) in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, rural Moweaqua. Memorials: Moweaqua Ambulance Service.
Mr. Jordan was born Oct. 6, 1910, in Moweaqua, the son of Lloyd and Alta Gregory Jordan. He was a retired farmer and a member of Locust Grove Church and the Moweaqua Masonic Lodge. He married Pauline Wilson on March 9, 1935, in Fairfield.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Herman (Barbara) Zindel of Assumption; grandsons, Dennis and wife Kelly Zindel; Brian and wife Michelle Zindel; great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Adam and Kaitlyn Zindel, all of Moweaqua.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
